Giving Bosnians the chance to read the Bible

“A voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.'” – Matthew 3:3

In a world where things are constantly changing, we know that God’s Word provides us with unwavering direction for our lives. The influence of the Bible has been obscured for centuries in our location, but we are fighting back with a new online program for reading the Bible.

Over the past year, I have been tasked with overseeing our organization’s digital presence in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and to that end we have created, an evangelistic website with articles and videos that communicate the gospel to a mass audience through the internet. We have been publishing our content through Facebook, Instagram, and various other social media networks, and we have been successful in cultivating an audience over the past few months.

We are reading the Bible together in 2017

With the beginning of the new year, we decided to start the first One-year online Bible reading plan that we know of in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Users can simply submit their email address, and receive a weekly schedule for reading the Bible. The entire text for each daily reading is accessible within our website, with links to other evangelistic articles and material alongside. Readers also have the opportunity to sign up for an online course entitled “Why Jesus?”, which introduces the user to the basics of Christianity.

The network of websites

You too can view this material in English here. This site is part of the network of evangelistic websites, a worldwide network that has a presence in over 20 countries.

You can use this site to pray for new believers around the world.

One amazing feature of the network is that each site within the network has a place for users to indicate a decision made for Christ. Each time a decision is indicated, the main site database is updated, which you can view here. This page has a real-time map and a real-time list of decisions made, which you can use to pray for new believers around the world.
